Getting Started

What operating systems does Titronics® software support?

Titronics® software is compatible with Windows 7, 8, 10, and 11. Windows XP and Vista are no longer supported by Microsoft and cannot be used.
⚠️ ARM-based processors (including Snapdragon / Qualcomm) are not supported.

What are the minimum system requirements?

✅ Windows 7 or newer
✅ Intel or AMD processor
✅ 200 MB free disk space
✅ At least one available USB port
✅ Internet connection for software updates

Can I install Titronics® software on more than one computer?

Yes. Titronics® supports networked installations.
The main server must share the C3000 folder with full permissions, and client computers must point their data folder to the shared database location.

Installation & Setup

How do I install Titronics® software?

✅ Ensure your scanner is fully charged and unplugged
✅ Install the Titronics® software
✅Pair the scanner (Bluetooth models only)
✅Select the correct COM port in Setup
✅Copy calibration settings after connecting the scanner
✅Detailed installation guides are included with the software.

What if my computer doesn’t have Bluetooth?

You can use a Bluetooth USB dongle. Once installed, follow the same setup steps as a system with built-in Bluetooth.

How do I install scanner drivers?

Scanner drivers are included on the supplied flash drive inside the DRIVERS folder. Updated drivers are also available in the Resources section of the Titronics® website.

Scanning & Usage

I installed the software, but I can’t scan. What should I check?

Common causes:
✅ Registration number not entered
✅ Scanner not detected by Windows
✅ Incorrect COM port selection
✅ Scanner power or connection issues
Each scanner model (serial, USB, or Bluetooth) has specific setup requirements.

What scanning modes are available?

✅ Full Spine Scan
✅ Cervical Scan (≤ 25 cm)
✅ Segment Scan (Lumbar & Cervical only)
✅ Infant Scan (single-barrel technique)

How do I scan a patient correctly?

The FAQ includes a step-by-step scanning procedure covering:

Why do my bar graphs lean or appear green?

Enable “Center Bar Graph” in Setup → Scans Tab. If the issue persists, your scanner may require recalibration.
